The HIP pack is completed in two stages. The Basic Pack is needed to start marketing your property and the Full Pack needs to be completed within 28 days.

Basic HIP:

The Basic HIP is normally done in 1 or 2 days and includes a Sales Statement, copy of the Title and a copy of the Plan, and a Property Information Questionnaire (to be completed by the Vendor) and the Energy Performance Certificate.

Full HIP:

The Full includes all Basic HIP items plus the Local Authority Search (LLC1), the local Water Authority Search (CON29DW) and a copy of the Lease if the property is Leasehold.

After you have ordered a HIP pack from us you will receive a Property Information Questionnaire by email to fill in, which needs to be sent back to us to add to the Basic HIP.  The required searches will then be ordered and shortly you will be contacted by one of our qualified Domestic Energy Assessors to do the Energy Assessment for your property. This will be done at the property and takes up to an hour depending on the size of the property.

You can market your property as soon as you have received the Basic HIP. The Basic HIP pack will be ready when we have recieved the EPC and Property Info Questionnaire (delays occur for unregistered properties). The Full HIP pack will be sent to you or your selected sales agent by email in PDF format. We do offer printed HIP copies or CD copies for an additional charge. (See Prices) You do not have to pay for a printed copy but we do offer the service if required. We ask that you call us about this.

 

 

Service providers used by HIP Busters are registered members of the HIP Code and/or the Search Code. All documents provided are individually insured by the relevant search provider. The energy assessment is covered by the energy assessors own Indemnity & Liability Insurance.
